Are you dreaming of a wonderful weekend stay with overnight stay in West Jutland? It will be our pleasure to warmly welcome you to our historic inn, whose origins can be traced back more than 240 years.
We take great care to preserve the inn's rural appeal, while at the same time it lives up to today's standards. Today, the inn is run daily by Vinni Schmidt and his son Nicklas Schmidt, who have owned the inn since 1987. In November 2023, Nicklas' wife Louise Ohlsen was hired as SoMe and Booking Manager as well as hygiene manager. February 2024, Nicklas' cousin Mette Kristine Nielsen came in as a partner.
At Hodde Kro we have 15 luxury cabins, all of which are isolated and have their own bathroom and kitchenette. From our cabins you can enjoy the beautiful view over Varde Å. All rooms and cabins have free WiFi and free parking.
The inn is located in the heart of scenic West Jutland, with plenty of opportunities to go on educational cultural excursions, or simply enjoy the fantastic surroundings.

The inn has 15 luxury nature cabins - all with flat screen TV and WiFi. Our "Broen" cabins were built in 2016. They are furnished with a private shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer, smart TV, as well as a small kitchenette and fridge.
The 4-person cabins have their own plateau. All our cabins are insulated, so even in the winter period you can keep warm.
The 2-person cabins have their own terrace and a view of nature.
Boulevard - the cabins by the river were built in 2019. They are furnished with a private bath and toilet, sink, hairdryer, smart TV, as well as a small kitchenette and fridge. All our cabins are insulated, so even in the winter period you can keep warm.
These cabins have their own terrace and a view right down to the stream. All cabins have the option of free WiFi and free parking.
